The term gaming fallacy is used to describe the different theories and strategies that have been put forward by many players at the casino both online and at the land based casino to prove that there is in fact some systematic reason for the results that occur when playing casino games such as the game of roulette or craps. A player who is observing a game of roulette may in fact be led to believe that the ball will land in the black slots half of the time and in the red slots the other half. This is not true and it simply means that the player has failed to understand the concept of statistical independence. The game of online roulette is based on a randomly generated and statistically independent sequence. This means that there is no predictable pattern into which hole the ball will land every time the roulette wheel comes to a stop. No matter how many times the ball has fallen into a black hole, the next time that the wheel is spun, the probability of it falling into the black hole again is the same as it was on previous occasions.  Neither the roulette wheel nor the ball has a memory. Every gaming system that is put forward by a gaming expert is based on this false fallacy. Any attempt to build a theory such as betting on only the red or black holes, or betting using only prime numbers, is inherently falling into this trap. If you really wish to improve your gaming sessions and make better decisions then it may be beneficial to you to engage in some mind sharpening activities such as a crossword or a maze puzzle before spending time at the online casino.
